Heh, sorry to plague you guys with bad news everytime. It seems that all I'm submitting is depressing, death-realted things, but nothing else seems important enough to talk about anymore, you know?

Anyway, I'm just making a memorial of sorts for all those I know and who I might have known. 2006 brought a lot of death around me, and it seems like the real world is finally opening up to me. I admit that I don't quite understand death, but I do know that it hurts everyone. I know this will seem blasphemous, but if God is such a good being, why must he take the lives of all the good, undeserving people?

Uncle Ariel... I miss you so very much. You've always been good to me and even though we never really knew each other well, I will always remember you. Your death brought a lot of sadness to our family, and I know you didn't deserve such a tragic fate, but I hope that you're in a better place. I can't stop the pain I feel when I think of your death, but when I think of your life, it feels better. I hope that, wherever you are, that you're in the paradise that you deserve...

Patrick Barr... I know that I never knew you at all except that we went to the same elementary school. I know that I never got to speak to you. But I still hurt when you left us. I don't know why you decided to do what you did, but I hope that you're happy now. I hope you made the right decision for yourself even if it was the wrong one for the ones around us. And I hope that the pain you felt is now forever gone.

Chris... To be honest, I never knew who you were before that one morning when they announced your death. Even so, I still feel that I should say something in your memory. You put up a great fight against the disease within you. Even if it took you anyway, I hope that you're in a place far away from the pain of cancer.

Mr. Ballester... Accidents can be so tragic. I had this sense of deja vu when I heard about your death. I cried for you even if I never knew you. I did kind of know your father, though, and I could see the sadness in his face. I don't have to know you to know that you too were undeserving of your cruel fate. All I can do is hope, like I always do. Good luck, wherever you are now.

Anastacia Da Sousa... You don't know me, and I don't know you either, but I know that you didn't deserve to die at the hands of that maniac. I'm so sorry that you had to be the one to die in that shooting. Nobody should ever have to go through that. His actions angered me, but he's gone now. He can't hurt anybody anymore, but I'm not sure if he got what he deserved.... Regardless, I hope you found happiness in the place you are. If you were still here, you'd probably be a role model to me...
